Watch the scene in which Katniss shoots an arrow into the apple in the pig's mouth during the Gamemakers' feast. What was the motive behind her actions? How did this bold act of rebellion affect her in regards to the Hunger Games? In other words, did shooting the arrow into the apple help or hinder her chances in the games?

When Katniss shot the arrow, she startled the gamemakers. Nobody shoots arrows at gamemakers and gets away with it! Well.... she kinda did. Although the gamemakers wanted to kill her it showed in the movie Haymitch persuaded Senacca Crane to not kill her.
ReplyDeleteHaymitch does this by saying give the captiol people something to cheer for....Young love <3
